Patient FAQ

Questions before your visit

Answers to common questions about booking, prescriptions, preparation, reports, and clinic timings at Pacific Diagnostics, New Panvel.

What should I bring for my visit?

Bring a valid doctor's prescription (original or clear copy), a government photo ID, previous reports if any, and the contact number used for booking. For pregnancy scans, carry the antenatal card or LMP details if your doctor has advised.

Is a doctor's prescription mandatory?

Yes. Diagnostic tests at Pacific Diagnostics are performed as per a registered medical practitioner's prescription, unless applicable law and clinic policy allow otherwise. The referring doctor decides which test is clinically appropriate.

How do I book an appointment?

Call 8188886948 or 8188886958, use WhatsApp from this website, or upload your prescription photo for a callback. Share patient name, test name, preferred time, and prescription details when you contact us.

Do I need fasting before ultrasound or other tests?

Preparation depends on the test your doctor has prescribed. Some abdomen scans need 4–6 hours fasting; others do not. Always follow the instructions on your prescription and confirm with clinic staff when booking—do not rely only on general website information.

What should I know before a pregnancy scan?

Carry your doctor's prescription and antenatal records. Some scans need a full bladder; your doctor or our staff will tell you when booking. Report any pain, bleeding, or emergency symptoms to your treating doctor immediately—do not wait for a routine scan slot.

How does the live token system work?

The homepage shows the current token number and approximate wait time when the clinic updates it. Take your token at reception on arrival. Wait times are estimates and can change based on emergency cases or complex procedures.

When will I receive my report?

Report timing depends on the type of test and clinical review. Many routine reports are shared the same day or as advised by the clinic. Critical or complex cases may need additional time. Final interpretation is always by a qualified medical professional—not through this website alone.

Can I get my report on WhatsApp?

Report updates on WhatsApp may be offered based on patient consent and clinic workflow. Collect physical or digital reports as instructed at reception. Do not share reports on social media without your doctor's advice.

What are clinic timings?

Pacific Diagnostics is open Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Sunday closed. For festival or special closures, contact the clinic by phone or WhatsApp before visiting.

Where is the clinic and how do I reach?

Is this website for medical emergencies?

No. For chest pain, severe breathlessness, heavy bleeding, loss of consciousness, stroke symptoms, or any emergency, go to the nearest hospital emergency department or call national emergency services immediately. This website is for non-emergency appointment support only.

Can this website choose my diagnostic test?

No. Service descriptions and website guidance are for convenience only. They do not diagnose illness or replace your doctor's prescription. Final test selection always follows your treating or referring doctor's written advice.
