Patient Privacy & Data Handling

Pacific Diagnostics uses patient information only for appointment support, prescription callback, report-status communication, and clinic operations. Prescription images and contact details should be handled by authorized clinic staff only.

1. Data controller

Pacific Diagnostics, managed by Dr. Swapnil Meshram, 1st Floor, Devshri Building, Sector 4, Road No. 1, New Panvel, is responsible for handling patient information collected through this website, phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and in-person visits.

2. Information we collect

  • Patient name and mobile number for booking and callbacks.
  • Prescription photographs uploaded voluntarily by the patient with consent.
  • Service preference, appointment preference, and report-ready communication records.
  • Optional patient reviews submitted through the website form.
  • Basic technical data such as page views for clinic operations (where analytics is enabled).

3. How we use information

  • Scheduling appointments and confirming visit instructions.
  • Calling patients back after prescription upload to verify the requested test.
  • Informing patients when reports are ready for collection or handover.
  • Improving clinic workflow and website usability for patients.
  • We do not use patient data for unrelated marketing or sell data to third parties.

4. Prescription and medical images

Prescription images may contain sensitive health information. They are accessed only by authorized clinic staff for the limited purpose of verifying the requested investigation and coordinating the appointment.

Staff must not share prescription images on personal devices, social media, or with persons who are not involved in patient care.

5. Data sharing

  • Patient data is shared only when necessary for clinic operations—for example with the reporting doctor, reception, or secure cloud systems used to run the website dashboard.
  • We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority.
  • Referring doctors receive reports through standard clinic handover processes, not through public website pages.

6. Retention and deletion

Prescription uploads, callback records, and report-status logs are retained only for as long as needed for clinic operations, medical records compliance, and audit requirements under applicable law.

Outdated prescription files and duplicate uploads should be deleted periodically as per internal clinic policy.

7. Security measures

  • Access to staff dashboards and patient workflow tools is restricted to authorized clinic personnel.
  • Prescription and patient data should be stored on secure, access-controlled systems with strong passwords.
  • Patients should upload clear prescription photos and avoid including unrelated personal documents.

8. Your rights

  • You may request correction of inaccurate contact details by calling the clinic.
  • You may ask what prescription or callback data the clinic holds about your visit.
  • You may withdraw consent for optional features such as review requests; core booking services may still require basic contact information.

9. WhatsApp and phone communication

When you contact Pacific Diagnostics through call or WhatsApp, your number and message content may be stored in clinic phones or systems for follow-up. Standard carrier and WhatsApp platform policies also apply.

10. Grievance and contact

For privacy concerns, contact Pacific Diagnostics at 8188886948 / 8188886958 or visit the centre at Sector 4, New Panvel. Grievances will be addressed within a reasonable time as per applicable law.

This privacy policy may be updated when clinic processes or legal requirements change. Please review this page periodically.
